My history with pillows has basically always been they're never firm enough. The recent one I was using was a memory foam pillow from costco. My boyfriend's felt great to use but mine never stayed firm, I constantly had to turn it over.
The pillow cube was a bit weird to get used to at first. I actually swapped halfway through the night to my original pillow. I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was much more firm than I was used to. My neck was hurting from an unrelated thing and I couldn't tell if it made it better or worse.
I gave it a few more nights and I don't know if it softened up a little or I got used to it but it started to become really comfortable for me. It made my sleep a lot better (I have very terrible sleep, it's still bad but no where near what it was).
I was pretty skeptical to drop so much money on a pillow--I'm disabled and it's hard to justify big purchases like that--but I'm glad I did! This is the pillow I've needed in my life.

I do construction(glass storefront) and am very hot natured. I have a LOT of pillows, way too many!! I used to buy new cooling pillows on regular basis, trying to find something I really liked. After buying the Ice Cube about 8 months ago, I haven't bought another pillow!! This is the longest I've used the same pillow in 10+ years. Absolutely love it! I'm going to buy the Combo Cube Riser Ice to try as well

I have been waking up 2-4 times a night for years. I never associated it with my pillow. I just thought it was age or perimenopause or stress. Apparently it was my pillow. I bought this pillow almost s week ago and I have to say it is one of the best investments I've ever made. I sleep through the night I wake up refreshed as long as I don't have a pillow case on it and sleep on the shell it came with I've tried 2 different pillows cases on it and I tend to move so much more then if I have them on but since the shell is washable I figured I would just use that.. I can't tell you how good it feels to wake up feeling so refreshed and not continue to lay in my bed saying give me 5 more minutes I wake up now feeling wide awake like I've actually gotten some sleep so thank you pillow cube.

While the Pillow Cube was specifically designed for side sleepers, we have heard from some side/back sleepers that they enjoy the pillow too! But all in all, the pillow is intended for side sleepers.
