Side Cube Deluxe

Here's the deal. I got this pillow and for the first few days, I was regretting my decision. It's a bit hard and not the most comfortable. But after a few nights, my chronic neck pain that I've had for years was gone. I now can't go a night without it. Comfortable? no. but I'll take a day free of neck pain over a plush pillow any day of the week.

This pillow was recommended to me by my chiropractor because I was having pretty chronic shoulder pain from side sleeping with normal pillows. A few nights with this pillow and problem solved!

The only issue I have is when I go to sleep on my back, which I also do, I’ve got to switch pillows in the middle of the night. But that’s an obstacle I can overcome ;-)

Just skip to the last paragraph/sentence if you don't want to read all of the history/detail of other pillows I tried before I discovered Pillow Cube.

I started sleeping on my floor in the beginning of April 2024. Prior to that, as a mattress sleeper, I was using a goofy-looking pillow called the Therapeutica Orthopedic Sleeping Pillow, which worked great for me on the mattress, but not on the floor. I kept using it, but I'd get bad neck aches and also the Clavicle bone area as well. I bought another pillow (Cervitrac Cervical Pillow) from the same company that was more traditional shaped and had sunken down pockets in the middle but raised neck sections. It just wasn't high enough. I then tried folding up a quilt into a rectangular shape that would fit into a pillow case so I would have about a 2" or 2.5" base I could put under the 1st aforementioned pillow, which worked pretty good, but as I turned during the night, it would shift and the top pillow would sink in spots. I thought of just having someone sew the folded-quilt case to the 1st aforementioned pillow's case, so everything would be connected and should work, but then I found out about Pillow Cube.

Since I'm a side sleeper (I only sleep on my back when I take a short nap, and therefore don't need a pillow of any kind for that/those), I gave Pillow Cube a chance. I wish I had this pillow years ago. It is the perfect combination of soft and supportive that my head and especially my neck needs. I just love it. I have the deluxe version and my husband teases me about the size and shape saying it looks like a crib mattress, but it isn’t really that big. I know once he tries it he will love it too. I am so happy with my decision and plan on buying more or the other beds in the house.

I used to wake up with neck, shoulder pain and feeling like I hadn’t slept.. It amazing what finding the perfect pillow can change the quality of sleep. I wake up feeling great! My husband mentioned that I haven’t been snoring which is a huge bonus! I’m off to buy 5 more for my husband and kids!
