Pillow Cube Mattress and Pillow Cube Mattress Deluxe Warranty

The Pillow Cube Mattress and Pillow Cube Mattress Deluxe are American-made products that are constructed with the highest quality materials and workmanship. As the owner (“Owner,” you), your new Pillow Cube Mattress is covered by this industry-leading 25-year warranty (Warranty). If your mattress has a defect while covered under this Warranty, Pillow Cube (“Pillow Cube,” we, us) will repair or replace the mattress according to the terms of this Warranty.

Pillow Cube mattresses are designed for use on a firm, solid-surface or adjustable bed base (or other similar mattress supports). This Warranty is contingent and normal use and handling of the mattress consistent with tests conducted on mattresses in use with acceptable mattress supports.

This limited Warranty provides you, as the original mattress purchaser, specific legal rights. You may have additional rights, depending on the state in which you live and where you purchased the mattress.

Please contact Pillow Cube directly for all questions and issues related to this limited Warranty. Do not contact the retail store or dealer where you purchased your Pillow Cube mattress. Any potential issues, questions, or requests directed to retail stores, dealers, or other parties are not covered by the limited Warranty. They are not authorized to take any action under this limited Warranty, and we are not responsible for any delays or related consequences due to communications directed to any party other than Pillow Cube.

Warranty Coverage

This Warranty is limited in scope and covers only the following defects:

Any visible sagging and lasting indentation (body impression) greater than two inches in depth, which are not a result of a sag in the foundational mattress support (e.g., box springs, platform, etc.).

Any material physical flaw in the mattress that manifests as a split or crack in the latex or memory foam material, provided that the physical flaw is only material if it exceeds 2 inches in length, negatively impacts proper use of the mattress, and is not caused by improper use or handling of the mattress.

This limited Warranty covers only the mattress and does not cover any bedding or accessories. This limited Warranty does not cover any change in the “feel” of the mattress. Other than as stated above, this limited Warranty does not cover any change in the recovery or rebound characteristics of the material, neither of which affect the performance or pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress. This limited Warranty does not cover any changes in the cooling or other temperature properties of the mattress, which may decrease over time with use and exposure to the environment.

Your Remedies

If the mattress is deemed defective by Pillow Cube during the time you, as the original owner, continue to own the mattress, we will be responsible, in our sole discretion, for either repairing the mattress or providing a replacement mattress credit (Warranty Credit) to you equal to a prorated percentage of your original purchase price of the mattress (less any taxes, handling, transportation, or other fees) to be applied exclusively to the purchase of a new mattress from us, according to the following schedule:

During the first ten (10) years of original ownership by you, the Warranty Credit shall be 100%.

During year 11 of original ownership by you, the Warranty Credit shall be 50% and decrease by 3% for each additional year through year 25.

This limited Warranty is personal to you as the original owner and cannot be transferred to any other person. You will be responsible for all costs associated with handling and transportation related to the original mattress and any replacement mattress.

Additional Conditions

In order for this limited Warranty to be valid, you must:

• Purchase the mattress from an authorized dealer.
• Register your product with Pillow Cube at pillowcube.com (or another location specified by us) within 30 calendar days after your original date of purchase.
• Be the original consumer or purchaser. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer possession of the mattress.
• Provide proof of original purchase via copy of original store receipt reflecting proof of purchase date, place of purchase, and purchase price.

This limited Warranty will be void and shall not apply to products that have been intentionally or negligently burned, cut, torn, stained, exposed to sunlight, exposed to harsh chemicals or elements, exposed to insects or animals, or otherwise physically damaged or soiled (including by bodily fluid).

This limited Warranty will be void and shall not apply if an appropriate mattress support has not been used to support the mattress or the cumulative body weight of any users exceeds the mattress specifications.

ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR ANY COSTS, FEES, DAMAGES, OR OTHER AMOUNTS, OTHER THAN AS SPECIFIED HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED YOUR ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE MATTRESS.

Please Read The Following Important Information

Certain material in your new Pillow Cube mattress is temperature sensitive material; therefore the ambient room temperature may affect the mattress feel. Very warm or humid weather may make the mattress feel extra soft, while very cold weather may render the mattress somewhat firmer. A bedroom temperature between 65° – 75° Fahrenheit will generate the proper feel. Your mattress is new and it may take some time for you to get comfortable with its new feel. After a reasonable amount of “break-in” time, if you are still not as comfortable as you would like, try adding or removing a conventional mattress pad as this may alter the feel slightly and give you just the comfort level you are looking for.

Certain material in your new Pillow Cube mattress may, through the manufacturing process, have a minor odor when the mattress is first opened. This odor is harmless and will dissipate after a few days upon removal from the packaging.

Your mattress may ship in a compressed package. Depending on external factors such as temperature it may take up to 24 hours for your mattress to fully expand.

Pillow Cube Risk Free 100 Night Trial

The Pillow Cube Risk Free 100 Night Trial is designed to give you the time, comfort, ease and privacy to sleep on your new mattress and discover all of the amazing features and benefits that inspired you to purchase it.

We offer a Risk Free 100 Night Trial because we want you to have the time to try your new mattress and make sure it meets all your needs. We encourage you to take your time to experience the Pillow Cube Mattress. Your body needs time to get used to a new mattress, so the first night or two may not be your best night’s sleep. After all, you have been sleeping on that old mattress for quite a while. So give Pillow Cube the chance to amaze you – no one is pressuring you to decide overnight. We require that you take 90 nights to make your decision. If you are not satisfied with the mattress after 90 nights you will have between night 90 and 100 to contact us and request a return.

Pillow Cube™ Sidekick Pillow Warranty

Pillow Cube guarantees the original purchaser that the Sidekick Pillow will be replaced or repaired at our option, should it be deemed defective because of faulty workmanship or structural defects during this five (5) year warranty period, excluding the specific limitations contained herein.

This Limited Warranty Covers

• Deterioration in the cell structure of the material that causes the product to not return to its original shape.

• Any physical flaw in the material that causes it to split or crack despite normal use and proper handling.

Length of Warranty

This Warranty protects your purchase for Five (5) years from original purchase. For the first year of your warranty up to 100% of the original purchase price of the pillow may be covered. Years 2-5, the original owner will pay the prorated replacement charge of fifty (50) percent of the original purchase price. The prorated charge to the original owner will increase 10% per year. For example In year 5 of the 5 year warranty the Original Owner will be responsible for 80% of the replacement cost.

All shipping and handling charges will be the responsibility of the original purchaser.

Exclusions - This warranty does not cover the following

• Changes in the softness or firmness of material

• Changes in the rebound properties of the material

Pillow Cube™ Bedding Warranties

Pillow Cube™ Ice Cube Mattress Protector Warranty

Pillow Cube Ice Cube Mattress Protector is for residential use only. Pillow Cube will replace Pillow Cube Ice Cube Mattress Protector to the original end-user purchaser up to five (5) years from the original purchase date.

This Limited Warranty Covers

Any failure as described about where the purchaser has blotted or dried the stain in thirty (30) minutes or less after occurrence. After immediately removing the protector, such stain has not been stopped by the protector, and has reached the mattress surface. Failure to follow proper care, installation and laundering instructions, or allowing the origin of the stain to remain on the protector for more than 30 minutes will void this warranty.

A failure is defined as any food or beverage normally consumed by a human or any human or pet bodily fluid which, in less than 30 minutes, penetrates the Pillow Cube Ice Cube Mattress Protector and reaches the mattress surface.

The laminate or fabric of the Product fails due to faulty workmanship or structural defects in the course of normal usage subject to the limitations and conditions described in this warranty

During the first year of original ownership, if the protector is deemed defective, Pillow Cube shall replace the Mattress Protector.

Years 2 through 5, but before this warranty expires, if the protector is deemed defective, Pillow Cube will replace the protector to the original owner at the following prorated costs to the purchaser. After year one a fifty (50%) percent charge based on the original purchase price, increasing 5% for each subsequent year following the first year. 55% of the original purchase price in year 2, 60% in year 3, 65% year 4 etc., etc.)

Exclusions – This Warranty does not Cover The Following

• Medical issues, incontinence and repeated or multiple stains or multiple locations of stains from humans and/or pets.

• Substances such as dyes, inks, paints, dirt or other soil, gum, acids, corrosives, bleaches, nail polish, nail polish remover, medication including vitamins, cosmetics, and chemical hair treatments such as hair gel, hair spray, mousse and similar.

• Odors, accumulated and / or long-term multiple unknown stains, any unknown stains, non-colorfast material, pet damage, stains caused by the build-up of perspiration, hair or body oil, and normal soiling from everyday use.

• Any staining or damage to the mattress due to the failure of the protector, any cleaning or replacement costs.

• All handling or transportation costs associated with this replacement must be paid by the original purchaser.

• Any changes in the cooling properties.

• The above exclusions are aspects that do not affect the performance or protective qualities of the product.

Proper Care and Installation

The Mattress Protector must be properly installed covering the entire mattress top and sides and bottom and secured with the zipper.

• The Product must be laundered in cold water using detergent containing NO bleach or bleach alternative.

• Dry with other bed linens or towels, not alone. Dryer settings must be set no higher than low heat temperature setting, air drying is preferable.

• Do not iron or use high heat to dry your protector; do not dry clean or use cleaners containing solvents or bleach. Do not use strong detergents or fabric softeners as all of these can damage the waterproof barrier of the protector and will void this warranty.

• Do not use an obviously damaged protector on your mattress as that will void this warranty.

• Make certain that the protector is completely dry before replacing it onto the mattress.

Important Information Regarding the Warranty

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product. An original purchaser is one who purchased the product directly from Pillow Cube or an authorized dealer of Pillow Cube.

• Register your product with Pillow Cube within 30 days of purchase for this warranty to be valid at pillowcube.com

• Should a stain persist after laundering, you must register the stain with our Customer Service department within five (5) days of the incident,

• You must provide original sales receipt as valid proof of purchase for any warranty claim.

• All shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

This limited warranty provides the original purchaser specific legal rights, one may enjoy additional rights based upon one’s domicile state.

ALL FABRICS ARE SUBJECT TO GENERAL SOILING and this warranty does not eliminate the need for routine care and washing of the mattress protector. This Warranty Covers isolated stain removal only and not general soiling. General soiling is defined as gradual buildup of dirt, dust, body oils, and perspiration, which cannot be attributed to a single occurrence.

Pillow Cube™ Zip Fit Sheets Warranty

Our premium sheets are covered by our 5-year limited Warranty against manufacturer’s defects in the construction of the sheet(s). If during the warranty period this product is found to be defective because of defects in materials or workmanship, Pillow Cube will replace with the same product, or a product of equal value as outlined below.

This Limited Warranty Covers

• Manufacturer’s defects in the construction of the sheet(s).

• Any physical flaw in the material or workmanship that causes it to fail despite normal use and proper use.

What is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear of the material. In addition, this product must be cleaned in accordance with the care and use instructions attached to each sheet. Pillow Cube will not be liable for the incidental or consequential damages to property other than the product. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The warranty also does not cover changes in the cooling properties, which may decrease over time with use and exposure to the environment.

Length of Warranty

During the 5 years of this warranty, if a defect is discovered Pillow Cube shall replace the defective product. If the defect is discovered before the 12th month, Pillow Cube will replace the defective product, however the purchaser will be responsible for any and all shipping costs. If the defect is discovered after the 12th month the purchaser will be responsible for 50% of the costs of the sheet and any and all shipping costs. If the defect is discovered between the third year and fifth year the amount the purchase will be responsible for will increase an additional 10% per year and any and all shipping costs. For example in the third year the purchases will be responsible for 60% of the replacement cost.

In Order For This Limited Warranty To Be Valid You Must

• Register your product with Pillow Cube (pillowcube.com) within 30 days of purchase for this warranty to be valid.

• Be the original consumer or purchaser. Coverage terminates if you are not the original purchaser.

• Have purchased the Pillow Cube Sheets from an authorized dealer.

• Provide proof of purchase via copy of original store receipt reflecting proof of purchase date, place of purchase and purchase price.

How To File A Claim

The Original Purchaser must contact Customer Service within 5 days of discovering the defect. The original purchaser will be required to provide the original purchase receipt, claims cannot be processed without it. The purchaser may be asked to provide the defective product and/or pictures of the product’s defect.
